Landcare Scrapbooking
Create a page that tells part of your Landcare story.
Bring along photos, letters, drawings, dried plants, working bee scraps, memories or other objects you would like to include. You can make something about a place, project, group, person or moment that matters to you.
Digital Library scanning support
Are your Landcare records sitting in a cupboard or box?
Bring along reports, maps, photographs and other material you would like help scanning or adding to your digital records. We’ll have support available during the afternoon to help you start preserving and organising some of your Landcare history.
Landcare screen printing
Have a go at screen printing the Landcare Tasmania logo onto your own fabric item.
Bring a plain tote bag, T shirt or another suitable fabric item if you have one.
No bag? No problem. Landcare Tasmania iron on patches will be available to purchase, and while stocks last each one comes with a free vintage 2021 conference bag to give it a second life.
Landcare Tasmania merchandise
Our new Landcare Tasmania bucket hats, caps and enamel mugs will be available to purchase.
If you’ve already ordered merchandise as an add on with your Gathering ticket, you can collect it during registration. Limited stock will also be available to purchase in person.
Drinks and nibbles
The bar opens from 3.00 pm, with drinks available to purchase and nibbles available during the afternoon.
Drum along with 3D Drums
From 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm, join 3D Drums in the large marquee for a drumming workshop and performance to round out the afternoon.
More happening on Friday
There’s more happening around Deloraine before and after the Friday Social Gathering:
Wildwood After Dark
A moth talk with Dr Peter McQuillan followed by a guided night walk along the Meander River and into Wildwood Reserve, hosted by Wildwood Landcare Group.
Platypus Spotting along the Meander River
A guided evening walk along the Meander River, timed around dusk for a chance to look for platypus as the evening settles in.
