A great time was had at Agfest Field Days, Tasmania last weekend!
We had a great time checking out all the amazing things to see - and our stall was bustling with interest in revegetation, wildlife, and lots of questions about weed control. Thanks to @friendsoffernglade for lending us their collection of native animals, too! The University of Tasmania pavilion had a strong focus on sustainability, with vegetable growing competition and judging areas, interactive multi-media displays, sustainability calculators (as part of National Science Week), Student PhD research displays and a large collection of drones on show.
A big thank you to the volunteers who came along to help; Jason Orr (East Tamar Landcare), John Atkinson (Maitland Landcare Group) Rosemary Collins (Glenore Farm Landcare Group) Don Thompson (individual Landcarer). Big thank you to UTAS for hosting us in their pavilion again this year.
Thanks to Rural Youth for hosting such a worthwhile event, and all who came along!
