Tasmanian artist donates life's work to support Landcare

Tasmanian artist David Hopkins has generously donated a significant body of work to support Landcare in Tasmania.

David has been painting and illustrating since 1961, working in a wide variety of formats. He has been a productive and noted artist with his work exhibited in a wide variety of parliamentary, civic and private collections - as well as over 50 solo exhibitions around Australia.

David also ran Taswegia, a Tasmanian company producing gift cards, stationery and other products showcasing his prodigious output and talent. David has donated the rights to the Taswegia artwork collection to Landcare Tasmania, for use in raising funds to support Tasmania's community Landcare movement.

We are pleased to now be able to offer the first release from the collection for sale. These are in the form of a selection of packs of 8 greeting cards, each a compilation of beautiful illustrations of:

Tasmanian Birds

Proceeds from sales will be used to support Landcare's goal of maintaining and improving our natural and working environments through sustained engagement of the Tasmanian community.

Landcare Tasmania is deeply appreciative of David's gift and is pleased to be able to share his work with you.
