Activity: Sea spurge pulling Two Mile Beach
Day: Sunday 14th June
Time: 10 am – 2 pm ish
Where: Meet at Bangor Vineyard Shed car park

What to bring: Warm clothes including a beanie and a drink, snack for a picnic. Gloves supplied
Welcome back to our first activity since March.
Now that we are allowed to gather in numbers once again we have organised (at short notice) this activity.
A small sub group of Marion Bay Coastcare have been undertaking annual sea spurge patrols of 2 Mile Beach . Last year they encountered a significant increase in numbers with over 400 plants. At Easter Matt Dunbabin removed a patch of 30 odd plants but did not scour the whole beach. So this year we have decided to make a full Group activity so we can cover as much of the beach as possible.
The activity involves around 8km walking mostly on soft sand
There will be some additional procedures to follow to make us all covid safe. If you consider your self a high risk then please think before committing.
