We are building a community garden on a disused piece of council ground.  Low Head is a small community with an older population.  There are quite a few new comers who are keen to “do something practical “ while meeting new people.  Quite a few of our volunteers live in retirement accommodation and are keen to have a space to grow vegetables.  Others want a space where groups can meet to learn new skills or just have companionship.  A strong focus is reusing discarded materials, and creating spaces that our frog and bee friendly.
