You are invited to CARING FOR COUNTRY - FIELD DAY AND CELEBRATION at Jacks Flat Reserve

Venue is on Old Forcett Road opposite Heatherbell Road - Look for the Olympic Landcare sign on the gate.

In our 30th year of Caring for Coast and Country in Southern Beaches we are celebrating the success of our 21 years of collaborating with nature to revegetate and rehabilitate Jacks Flat.

We will begin the celebration with a Welcome to Country with Aboriginal elder Aunty Colleen and an Indigenous educator and environmentalist will be leading an Aboriginal Culture and Heritage walk - a great opportunity to learn about the area from an Aboriginal perspective.

We'll share the story of our efforts to rehabilitate China Creek and Jacks Flat and share our knowledge with some bird watching, orchid spotting and identifying tracks and scats to see who made this place their home.

Contact the organisers below for details. You can also check updates on the Southern Beaches Land and Coastcare Facebook page.
