Conference Speakers, Saturday 26 Oct

Hannah Moloney from Good Life Permaculture will be sharing an exploratory chat about how we face “the great unknown” - including permaculture, regenerative agriculture, urban farming and human resilience. Read more about Good Life Permaculture

Shasta Henry aka Bug Girl - ABC radio's dial-an-entomologist talking about eating and farming insects. Read more about her here

Todd Dudley - his work on the East Coast Conservation Corridor has been described as “visionary and inspirational". In 2018, restoration specialist Todd Dudley was awarded the Peter Rawlinson Award to recognise exceptional voluntary contributions to environmental protection - an amazing 20 years of protecting and restoring landscapes in north-east Tasmania!

David McElwee - from DPIPWE: "The Natural Values Atlas, what can it do for you?" Come find out at David's talk.

Lauren Faulkner from Wombat Rescue Tasmania speaking on the wins and losses of treating wombat mange in the wild.

Kaylene Allan Cat Management Officer for the Kingborough Council will present on cats in the environment, urban and bush.

Field Trip Presenters, Sunday 27 Oct

Vishnu Prahalad and Eric Woehler talk on shore birds and salt marshes on Saturday. Also come and see them at the RAMSAR listed Orielton Wetlands field trip on Sunday. Creator of The Saltmarsh Atlas, Vishnu is an expert in environmental management, sustainable systems and salt marsh ecology. Eric Woehler has been President of Birdlife Tasmania for many years, and has worked tirelessly to ensure the sustainability of Tasmania's native bird populations.

Jamie Graham - A proud trawlwoolway pakana, environmental activist, ecology student, educator and artist. Meet Jamie on a walk and talk about how to burn off for healthy bush on the field trip to Bedlam Walls on the Sunday. Read an interesting article about Jamie here
