We are calling for your support this May, to help over 300 Landcare groups and 100 individual Landcarers restore the health of our local environments.

In the month of May, every dollar you donate to the Tasmanian Landcare Fund will be doubled.

The Elsie Cameron Foundation has pledged to match every donation made up to $75,000.

That means, we have an opportunity to raise $150,000 for grassroots Landcare in Tasmania before the end of this financial year. 

Our membership is growing in response to increasing environmental challenges - and we urgently need to support this growth.

Will you consider donating this May to help grassroots Landcarers protect and restore the soils, waterways, flora, fauna, climate and communities that make up our beautiful island? 

Your donation will make a positive change supporting a movement that aims to care for the land and waterways of lutruwita / Tasmania now and for generations to come. 

What will the funds support?

Grassroots Landcarers are the very core of Landcare Tasmania - we are a not-for-profit that exists to support our local Landcare efforts in many ways. This fundraiser will increase our capacity to provide more support towards their goals:

• More funds for on-ground Landcare activities, training, and networking events
• More guides and resources and technical advice
• More publicity to promote the work of Landcarers, across all media
• More volunteer recruitment support
• More 1-to-1 phone and email support
• More support to reduce the admin burden of doing Landcare
• More advocacy for government and non-government support
• A boost to all of our programs!

The Tasmanian Landcare Fund is a public fund listed on the Register of Environmental Organisations.

Please note: Due to fundraising registration requirements, Landcare Tasmania is not currently eligible to receive donations in Queensland or Western Australia. Donations from residents of all other states are gratefully accepted.
