What can insects do for you?

Whichever way you cut the pie chart, insects make up most of the biodiversity on the planet; And diversity means utility if you know how to apply it. Insect diversity of function means they already play key roles in maintaining the ecosystems that we all rely upon for survival. They can also be recruited to solve a myriad of ecological problems in the Anthropocene. Problems like, where will I get my next latte, is my biodiesel bio enough, and how are we going to make tacos for 9 billion people? Science-communicator and insect advocate, Shasta Henry, introduces how humble insects doing their jobs are having a remarkable impact on our human lives.
