Waterworks Valley Landcare Group

Waterworks Valley Landcare Group has been active since 1993, in restoring habitat and improving the natural and built amenity in the Waterworks Road area. The group works mainly on Council land along the banks of the Sandy Bay Rivulet, dealing with weeds and undertaking revegetation works. We also do some weed control on private land, and are involved in community education.

Regular Events:

Monthly working bees along Sandy Bay Rivulet - Our working bees take place on the 1st Sunday of the month from 10 until around 12:30, and include morning tea.

How to Join this Group:

All like-minded people are welcome to join our Landcare Group and participate in our activities. To join, contact [email protected]. There is no membership fee (although small donations towards our conservation activities are always welcome).
