King Island Landcare

The King Island Landcare group (formerly KI Natural Resource Management Group Inc) was formed in 1997 with representatives of the Landcare groups and other relevant organisations. Our mission is to promote co-ordinated and integrated management of natural resources, which will contribute to the economic and environmental sustainability of King Island. The KILG has been instrumental in assisting land managers and the community to manage King Island's natural resources. Our vision is of King Island being a world leader in integrated sustainable production and quality living. The group meets on the second Monday of each month, 5.30 pm, at the King Island Regional Development Organisation office in Currie.

Meetings: 2nd Tuesday of each month, 5.30 pm at KIRDO 5 George Street. All welcome or join by zoom by contacting Jess [email protected]
