Panel Member - Agroecology

Pippa is a botanist, horticulturist and community facilitator with a desire to make our cities happier, healthier and more resilient through growing food and is currently undertaking her PhD at the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture looking at the impacts of under vine cover crops on soil function and vine nutrition.

Her research considers the complex interactions between soil moisture, structure and microbiology and the influence of these factors on the nutrients that vine roots are able to access.
